Pet Care &
Dog Walking

Group Walks

  • Designed for the typical dog who needs a daily outing for bathroom relief, combined with socialization and exercise
  • Group walks are 45 minutes long and are available Mon-Sat, 10am-to-6pm. Sunday by request
  • Pick-ups take place two or three times each day, depending on the day’s schedule. Most days, we offer morning and afternoons walks, depending on your location and the needs of your pet
  • We try to play and exercise right in your neighbourhood, so your dog spends less time in the car and more time outside
  • Your dog will be paired up with one or two other carefully selected dogs (3 dog limit), matching their size and temperament
  • Group Walks are the easiest, most affordable, and entertaining way for your dog to meet their daily needs for exercise and socialization
  • During a typical group walk, we reinforce polite walking etiquette and encourage your dog to practice their manners and social skills while interacting with other dogs
  • On extreme weather days, when it is in everyone’s best interest to not be outside, a dog will still need a brief trip outside and mental stimulation. Instead of walking we will spend time with your dog doing a variety of enrichment activities, light grooming, and working on manners such as ‘sit’, ‘stay’, ‘lay down’, and patience at the doorway

Group Dog Walk Rates

Please note regarding our regular vs occasional pricing:

Regular rates are based on a total of 10 or more walks/services in the span of one month.

* A combination of services may be used to total 10 in one month. For example, 5 group walks, 1 nail trim, 1 brushing/furminator, and 3 potty breaks. In this instance Regular rates will apply.

Private Walks

  • Designed for senior dogs, dogs recovering from an injury or surgery, or dogs who simply don’t like to be around other dogs
  • Private walks are either 30 minutes or 60 minutes long, and are available Mon-Sat, 10am-to-6pm. Sunday by request
  • We play and exercise in your neighbourhood. No driving required.
  • All walks are on-leash only. Your dog does not need great recall.
  • Private dog walks are the ideal solution for dogs recovering from communicable disease such as kennel cough – as these walks don’t involve any other dogs
  • If your dog has any socialization issues or aggression towards other dogs, this is likely the right program to enrol them in
  • Or if you just want your dog to have a little extra TLC, this is the right program too
  • If you have a second dog – whether in the same house or a ‘best friend’ in the neighbourhood – we can add them for an extra $10

Light Grooming

We offer five light grooming options, for both dogs and cats:

  1. Brush/furminate removes dead hair, distributes natural oils for a healthy coat, stimulates the surface of the skin, gets rid of dead and dry skin, and removes fur before it drops in your house!
  2. Teeth brushing and oral check-ups help to prevent tooth loss, bad breath, periodontal disease and gingivitis. Oral health is the first step of proper nutrition and digestion.
  3. Nail trims prevent a dog’s claws from curving under the paws and digging into the skin, which can be painful and lead to serious issues. For cats, clipping his nail tips prevent painful broken claws and can also help save your furniture!
  4. Furry foot trims prevent ‘furry slippers’, which can interfere with your dog’s perception of location, movement, and action. A dog will feel more balanced when it can feel it’s feet on the ground.
  5. Ear Cleaning reduces the occurrence of common ear problems, such as “moist ear” problems, which are often associated with yeast, fungal, or bacterial conditions. For dogs, cats and puppies.
  • All light grooming services take place in your home, where your dog or cat will feel the most comfortable
  • Some grooming services, for some pets, will take some time and patience to work up to. For example, it can be very difficult to brush the teeth of a cat who we have just met for the first time. Sometimes we need to build trust before we can proceed.
  • It is preferable to combine services – for example a group walk followed by a nail trim.

Potty Breaks for Dogs

  • Sometimes all your pet needs is a quick trip outside
  • Potty breaks are 15 minutes long and are available Mon-Sat, 10am-to-6pm. Sunday, or after-hours, by request.
  • We will take your dog out for a 10-to-15 minute bathroom break, in your own backyard and/or neighbourhood, and do a health and wellness check too
  • These short outings are ideal for senior dogs, dogs who are recovering from injuries, surgery, or a communicable disease
  • Potty breaks are a great tool for housetraining puppies too
  • Also ideal for folks who might need to run an errand or two after work, or those who sometimes work overtime-hours
  • We can do two potty breaks in a single day too, if needed
  • The only difference between the potty breaks and private walks is the length of the walk
  • If you happen to have a secure, fenced, backyard, we will play off-leash with your dog during a potty break. Otherwise we are very happy to take your pet for a short neighbourhood walk.
  • If you happen to have two dogs at home, we can help with that too for a small extra charge (see pricing below)
  • On extreme weather days, when it is in everyone’s best interest to not be outside, a dog will still need a brief trip outside and mental stimulation. Instead of playing outside, we will spend time with your dog doing a variety of enrichment activities, light grooming, and working on manners such as ‘sit’, ‘stay’, ‘lay down’, and patience at the doorway

  • Also great for folks who might occasionally be too busy to attend to chores regularly, or perhaps are recovering from an unexpected physical injury and could use an extra hand. We’re happy to help out.

Puppy Plan

  • The Puppy Plan is intended to socialize your dog to a variety of sights, sounds and smells in a safe and positive environment.
  • Designed by our Pet Care Specialist for dogs between 6 to 24 weeks of age, our puppy plan will help to develop your puppy into a confident, well behaved, well mannered and happy dog
  • Puppy Plan visits are 45 minutes long and are available Mon-Sat, 10am-to-6pm. Sunday by request.
  • We spend 15-20 minutes in the house, doing enrichment activities and teaching basic manners. 5-10 minutes are spent in the car acclimatizing your dog to car rides. 15-20 minutes are spent outdoors, in or near your neighbourhood, on leash
  • When a well socialized dog faces unfamiliar people, dogs, and places without fear, they will be happier and more confident throughout their life, making your job as a dog owner easier and more enjoyable
  • Dogs who lack early socialization might be reactive towards other dogs, or fearful around unfamiliar people. Some dogs who missed early socialization don’t do well with handling later, such as at the groomer or veterinarian’s office
  • On extreme weather days, your pup will still need attention and a bathroom break. Instead of a 15-to-20 minute walk outside, we might take your pup into a welcoming retail store (such as Pet Smart or Home Depot) as another method of socialization.

Senior Pet Plan

  • The Senior Pet Plan is intended to pamper your elderly pet – whether a dog, a cat, or any other animal.
  • With your input, our Pet Care Specialist will design a plan for specific for your senior pet, doing all the things they love to do
  • Senior Pet Plan visits can be 30 minutes, 45 minutes, or 1 hour long – whatever will suit the needs of your pet best. They are available Mon-Sat, 10am-to-6pm. Sunday by request.
  • The activities that we will do with your pet will be decided on with your input. This could be outdoor activities, indoor enrichment activities, brushing, car rides, playing games, giving treats, pets and snuggles, reading a book, or a combination of activities – whatever your pet needs, and loves to do.
  • We will also conduct a health and wellness check while we visit
  • We can administer medications too, if needed
  • Senior dogs and cats need exercise to help maintain a healthy body weight, maintain muscle mass, and keep them from getting bored, which can lead to unwanted behaviors.
  • Senior pets need mental as well as physical exercise. Some ways to do this include teaching them new tricks and providing them with treat-filled puzzle toys (enrichment toys). This kind of stimulation can help keep your senior pet mentally sharp and reduce anxiety.

Overnight Pet Sitting

  • Overnight Pet Sitting offers a tailored, customizable solution to suit the varied needs of multiple pet households or pets who need around the clock love and care.
  • We will stay iwth your pets from approx. 8am to 8pm
  • If your pet needs additional care during the day, check out our “Premium Live-in Pet Sitter Service”. We stay the night and arrage visits approx. 4 hours apart throughout the day
  • If your house has multiple pets, especially if you have cats, fish or pets other than dogs, it may work out better financially to have a pet sitter come over. Otherwise, you will need to arrange separate pet visits on top of boarding or kennel fees.
  • Puppies cannot generally be boarded away until they have their last round of vaccinations, and they require extra time and attention, so a pet sitter may be the only choice available
  • If your pets are very young or elderly, and require around the clock care, one of our professional pet sitters will not only stay overnight, but drop in every few hours throughout the day for visits or potty breaks. Please take a look at our ‘Premium Live-in Pet Sitter Service.’
  • Pets with injuries or recovering from illness will do much better in the comfort of their own homes than in a new environment. Our sitters are happy to administer medication and follow any other medical routines your pets require while you are away.
