Group Walks
- Group walks are designed for the typical, easy-to-along-with, dog who needs a daily outing for bathroom relief, combined with socialization and exercise
- Group Walks are the easiest, most affordable, and entertaining way for your dog to meet their daily needs
- Group walks are 45 minutes long and are available Mon-Sun, 9am-to-6pm
- Most days, we offer morning and afternoon walks, depending on your location and the needs of your pet
- We try to play and exercise right in your neighbourhood, so your dog spends less time in the car and more time outside
- Your dog will be paired up with one or two other carefully selected dogs (3 dog per human limit), matching their size and temperament
- During a typical group walk, we reinforce polite walking etiquette and encourage your dog to practice their manners and social skills while interacting with other dogs
- On extreme weather days, when it is in everyone’s best interest to not be outside, a dog will still need a brief trip outside and mental stimulation. Instead of walking we will spend time with your dog doing a variety of enrichment activities, light grooming, and working on manners. We may even visit some local, pet friendly stores

Occasional Pricing
Occasional Walker
Please note regarding our regular vs occasional pricing:
Regular rates are based on a total of 10 or more walks/services in the span of one month.
* A combination of services may be used to total 10 in one month. For example, 5 group walks, 1 nail trim, 1 brushing/furminator, and 3 potty breaks. In this instance Regular rates will apply.
Private Walks
- Designed for dogs who would rather be by themselves instead of a group setting
- Private walks are usually between 30-to-60 minutes long, but can be even longer by request, and are available Mon-Sun, 9am-to-6pm
- We often play and exercise right in your neighbourhood, to minimize driving time
- All private walks are on-leash only
- Private dog walks are the ideal solution for dogs recovering from communicable disease such as kennel cough – as these walks don’t involve any other dogs
- If your dog has any socialization issues, reactivity, or aggression towards other dogs, this is likely the right service for them
- Or if you just want your dog to have a little extra TLC, this is the right program too
- If you have a second dog – whether in the same house or a ‘best friend’ in the immediate neighbourhood – we can add them for an additional $5
- If your dog does best with a slower, or a faster pace, please let us know so we can accommodate
- On extreme weather days, when it is in everyone’s best interest to not be outside, a dog will still need a brief trip outside and mental stimulation. Instead of walking we will have a quick bathroom break outside and then spend time with your dog doing a variety of enrichment activities, light grooming, and working on manners. We may even visit some local, pet friendly stores

Light Grooming
We offer five light grooming options, for both dogs and cats:
- Brush/furminate removes dead hair, distributes natural oils for a healthy coat, stimulates the surface of the skin, gets rid of dead and dry skin, and removes fur before it drops in your house!
- Teeth brushing and oral check-ups help to prevent tooth loss, bad breath, periodontal disease and gingivitis. Oral health is the first step of proper nutrition and digestion
- Nail trims prevent a dog’s claws from curving under the paws and digging into the skin, which can be painful and lead to serious issues. For cats, clipping his nail tips prevent painful broken claws and can also help save your furniture!
- Furry foot trims prevent ‘furry slippers’, which can interfere with your dog’s perception of location, movement, and action. A dog will feel more balanced when it can feel it’s feet on the ground
- Ear Cleaning reduces the occurrence of common ear problems, such as “moist ear” problems, which are often associated with yeast, fungal, or bacterial conditions. For dogs, cats and puppies
- We strive for a fear-free approach, so grooming services are only available for pets that we have a relationship with already – not for new clients
- All grooming services take place in your home, where your dog or cat will feel the most comfortable
- Grooming services often require two crew members from Tree’s Pet Care, and therefore will need to be booked in advance. It can be difficult to schedule grooming appointments with less than one week notice.
- To build trust, and reduce stress, it is often preferable to spend time with the pet before the grooming service – for example a group walk followed by a nail trim

Potty Breaks for Dogs
- Sometimes all your pet needs is a quick trip outside
- Potty breaks are 20 minutes long and are available Mon-Sun, 9am-to-9pm
- We will take your dog out for a bathroom break, in your own backyard and/or neighbourhood, and do a health and wellness check too
- These short outings are ideal for younger dogs who may not be able to ‘hold it’ all day while their humans are working out-of-home
- Also ideal for senior dogs, who may no longer enjoy long walks; or can be a great tool for housetraining puppies too
- Very handy for folks who might need to run an errand or two after work, or those who sometimes work overtime-hours
- We can do two or more potty breaks in a single day too, if needed, at discounted pricing per potty break
- The only difference between the potty breaks and private walks is the length of the walk
- If you happen to have a secure, fenced, backyard, we will play off-leash with your dog during a potty break. Otherwise we are very happy to take your pet for a short neighbourhood walk
- If you happen to have two dogs at home, we can help with that too for a small extra charge (see pricing below)
- We can also feed your pup, if needed, during a potty break

- Small animal check-ins are designed for indoor pets such as cats, rabbits, guinea pigs, hamsters, rats, gerbils, ferrets, fish, turtles, hedgehogs, birds or reptiles
- Small animals check-ins are 20 minutes long and are available Mon-Sun, 9am-to-6pm
- We will do a brief health and wellness check, feed and water your pet, clean habitat or litter box, and give your pet stimulation and a little TLC

- We can make two or more visits in a single day, if required. Or we can visit a few times a week – depending on your situation and the needs of your pet(s)
- If you have several small indoor animals, extra charges may apply – especially if there are multiple litter boxes or habitats to clean (see pricing below)
- Ideal for folks going away on a day or weekend trip, or an out-of-country vacation. We’ll send you photos and short videos when we visit, so you will have peace of mind while you are away

Adventure Pack
- This is our most popular, and best value option – your dog will be with us for up to 2 hours (including travel time) for $32
- Your dog will be outside, socializing with other dogs for a minimum of 1 hour (often more). Travel times to/from a destination can be up to 20 minutes one way, depending on pickup location
- Destinations and activities will be different every week depending on the season, the weather, the dogs we have with us, and your input
- We are sometimes on-leash, sometimes off-leash (at dog parks) – with your input and approval
- We often aim for 4 to 6 dogs chaperoned by 2 humans. To keep things safe for everyone, we never exceed 3 dogs per human. Some select groups can be as large as 8 or 9 dogs with 3 experienced, qualified humans supervising.
- We will pick up your furry friend from your house, take them on a unique outing with pre-screened dog friends, then return your dog back home afterwards for a nap!
- An interactive, social, mental and physical adventure for your pooch
- Our Pet Care Specialists group dogs based on size and weight, temperament, play style, gender, age and energy level
- This service is designed for dogs who enjoy the company of other dogs, who enjoy car rides, and who enjoy exploring new environments
- A free ‘Meet N’ Greet’ consultation is recommended before we begin

Pet Sitting, by the hour
- This is intended for day or evening visits that are longer than 1 hour, not overnight visits (please see Overnight Pet Sitting for that service)
- A qualified pet care specialist will stay with your pet for up to 8 hours, in your home, where your pet is the most comfortable
- Part of our stay will be engaging in stimulating, interactive, pre-planned activities with your pet and/or helping out with the daily pet chores. The other part of our stay is more relaxed, casual interaction with the pet – simply being present for them as needed
- This service is often utilized for pets with separation anxiety, those that need a little extra TLC, or pets that become very vocal while you are away (and may cause issues with the neighbours!)
- Pet Sitting can be combined with any of our other services. For example, a 30 minute walk, then a 3 hour pet sit which might include a nail trim or brushing too

Overnight Pet Sitting
- Overnight Pet Sitting offers a tailored, customizable solution to suit the varied needs of multiple pet households or pets who need around the clock love and care while their humans are away
- Customizable packages are available, and are often the norm
- For our basic service, we will stay with your pets from approx. 8am to 8pm. In this case, often folks will have family members to check on the dog during the day.
- If your pet needs additional care during the day, check out our “Premium Overnight Pet Sitting” service. We stay the night, 8pm-to-8am, and arrange 20 minute visits approximately 4 hours apart throughout the day at noon and 4pm
- Does your pet require more than 20 minute visits? These visits can be lengthened to 30, 45, or 60 minutes (or longer!). Additional fees may apply.
- If your house has multiple pets, it often works out better financially to have a pet sitter come over – otherwise, you will often need to arrange separate pet visits on top of boarding or kennel fees (or pay boarding fees for 2 or 3 dogs)
- At most kennels puppies cannot be boarded until they have their last round of vaccinations, and puppies often require extra time and attention that a kennel simply cannot offer – so a pet sitter may be the only choice available
- Pets with injuries or recovering from injury or illness will do much better in the comfort of their own homes than in a new environment. Our sitters are happy to administer medication and follow any other medical routines your pets require while you are away
